I was born in Berlin and, even though I have been living in Athens forever, i am still feeling -as we say in Greece- “a citizen of the world”.
As a teenager and later on as a student i traveled, thanks to a very cheap one-month valid train ticket, to France- England – Italy and Germany and it was then i discovered my artistic roots.
My heart blooms up at the sight of the graffiti on the walls of cities (i call them “my open space precious gallery”) and by meeting “relative” artists and crafts people in cyberspace.
I think of the jewelry and small ceramic pieces i make as individual little art creatures, and the works in were i combine old, found on the street -waiting for adoption- furniture with handmade printed ceramic tiles as decoration art pieces you can use and enjoy in every day life.
Love the use of words in art, combining old cultures with contemporary aspects, love colors, especially purple in all tones and burgundy, discovering new techniques and materials, recycled materials, humor in life and art, love communication through any form of art.
